The invention relates to rolling production and can be used in the manufacture of rails. The aim of the invention is to reduce roll wear during rolling of rails and improve the quality of the profile by compacting the structure in the rail head and sole. Rail billet 1. can be obtained by prostatka in open two-roll calibers (Fig. 1) from a rectangular bloom or by continuous casting. The blank (Fig. 2) for the manufacture of rails has a T-shaped cross-section with a decreasing thickness in one direction along the axis of symmetry YY, formed by a rectangular element on the thickened side of the section, which passes into the trapezoidal element (part A), which in turn is conjugated with a rectangular element of lesser thickness (part B), and an additional trapezoidal element of smaller thickness joined with it by a large base (part C) to form a rail head. All the matings of the sections of the contour of the section of the workpiece are filled with radius roundings. Part-A roughly corresponds to the configuration of the rail foot. Such a configuration of the original rail blank simplifies its production, since its rolling from a rectangular bloom can be done in a single caliber, shown in Fig. 1. Wherein rolling in open gauge reduces wear of the latter, increases the service life of the rolls. The reduction in the number of gauges provides, in one or two sets of rolls, the cutting of gauges for rolling billets of the entire rail grade. As follows from figure 3, according to In the proposed method, a rectangular section blank 2 is initially deformed in a two-roll open gauge into a shaped blank 1 having the described configuration of slashes. While the concave side surfaces 4 of the head of the secondary billet 3 (fig.Z) and rollers represent a set of metal, which allows to obtain the exact profile of the rail head during the subsequent rolling of the finished rail in the gauge system (Fig. B-13). The deformation of the rail billet by the proposed method mainly in universal gauges (figures 4-6) provides an application to the workpiece forces shown schematically in figure 14. In this case, the metal flows predominantly in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the profile, the metal flows from the neck into the head and the sole and precipitates in these elements in the direction to their cores. Claims (3) [1] 1. A workpiece for the manufacture of rails, obtained by continuous casting or compression, having a T-shaped cross section with decreasing thickness in one direction along the axis of symmetry, formed by a rectangular element on the thickened side of the section to form the sole of the rail, turning into a trapezoidal element, in turn, conjugated with a rectangular element of smaller thickness, and the conjugation of the sections of the contour section is made with radiuses, characterized in that, in order to reduce the wear of the rolls when the rolling of the rails, it is made with an additional trapezoidal element adjacent to the specified rectangular element of lesser thickness to form a rail head from it. A method of rolling rails from a blank of a shaped T-shaped section, decreasing in the direction of the axis of symmetry of the thickness formed by alternating rectangular and trapezoidal sections, including its deformation in universal calibers and open twin roll calibers, characterized in that, in order to improve the quality of the profile by compaction of the structure in the head and sole of the rail, rough passages are carried out in several continuously following one after the other universal gauges with compression of the neck and pinch of part m metal into the head and sole of the workpiece, and then it is crimped in an open two-roll caliber, deforming all elements of the profile only in the direction perpendicular to its axis ..
